The Gear coupling consists of crowned outer gears of hubs and inner gears of sleeve and both sides are engaged each other.

Adjustment of axial misalignment and torque transmission are done with the coupling mechanism installed at two places where angular misalignment is adjusted by cog slip.

The structural angular misalignment is allowable between 1° and 6°.

The features of the gear coupling are; compact, large transmission power and high reliability.

However, lubrication and maintenance will be required.

BS COUPLINGS

(Patented product – USA, 3 European countries, and Asian countries)

BS coupling is constructed with barrel springs inserted through spring holes with pins which are supported by flanges.

The large-diameter part of the spring is supported by retaining holes of hubs and by means of deflection of the barrel springs perpendicular to the spring axis, the spring coupling can adjust shaft misalignment and at the same time transmit shaft torque.

In order to prevent damage caused by rust on the springs, grease should be applied to the springs in early phase of installation.

After lubrication, no maintenance will be required for two years.

In some case, no maintenance was required for More than five years in our past experience.

DISK COUPLINGS

Disk coupling is constituted by laminated sheets with a thickness of less than 1mm and is capable of adjustment of angular misalignment and torque transmission at the same time.

Adjustment of misalignment Can be done through the spacer installed between two laminated sheets.

* Our company recommends the customer to use SD Couplings which supersede Disk Couplings.

SD COUPLINGS

(Patented Products) SD Coupling has the same capabilities of adjustment of axial misalignment, angular misalignment and torque transmission as disk coupling.

Disk coupling has three and over blades fixed on one flange and these blades are capable of adjusting angular misalignment.

The connection transmits the torque only by the number of braids with the reamer bolt.

As a quantity of the parts is very small mounting is also very easy.
