上海德朗能动力电池有限公司于2001年10月成立，注册资金4950万元，占地总面积3.6万平方米。曾先后获得上海高新技术企业、品牌企业等荣誉。企业的研发技术中心被授予上海市技术中心，纯电动车用磷酸铁锂动力电池系统项目成为上海市火炬计划。上海德朗能始终以“电池专家，持续经营，回报社会”为目标，以“专注、创新、务实、合作”为经营理念，专业从事锂离子电池的研发、制造和销售，及OEM/ODM服务，相继通过ISO9000、ISO14000、UL、CE等权威认证。

2010年8月德朗能（张家港）动力电池有限公司成立，并于2011年正式投产，总占地面积15170平方米，为德朗能产业群中动力工具、混合动力和纯电动汽车做配套。

公司现有员工近1000人，研发人员30人。其中含博士4人，硕士8人，主要研发人员在电池技术领域均有超过10年的工作经验， 已经建立起了一套完善的自主知识产权体系，共获五十三项。同时拥有显著的产学研联合优势，分别与澳大利亚WOLLONGONG大学、上海交通大学、复旦大学等国内外知名学府成立了联合实验室，为企业的核心竞争力提供了强有力的动力。
