Connection Scenarios
A Wi-Fi device or computer can be connected to the Internet through the Mobile WiFi. The
actual connection procedure depends on the operating system of the Wi-Fi device or
computer. The connection scenarios illustrated here are for your reference.
Scenario 1: Multi-device access via Wi-Fi Scenario 2: One-device access via USB
Scenario 3: Multi-device access via Wi-Fi and USB at the same time
Inserting a SIM or Micro SD Card
Just like your mobile phone theI5device uses a SIM. So before you start you will need to insert a SIM.
Remove the back cover of your MiFi by sliding itupwardsbackwards the USB port.Take out the battery.Insert the SIM into the holder. To do this the SIM card must be placed facedown(gold chip downwards)with the missing corner in the top right.Put the battery back in.Replace the cover.Charge your MiFi (see below).
The same process will need to be repeated for the micro SD card however it just slots into the relevant holder alongside the SIM card. TheI5offers micro SD card support up to 32GB. Meaning you can easily swap and transfer files via the device.
Charging your MiFi
IMPORTANT:The battery must be fully charged (for a minimum of four hours) before using MiFi the first time. After the initial use and set up, you may use the device with the battery, AC mains charger, or USB power.
Once your device has been fully charged you will see:
The log flash with red color if the battery level is poor.
Normally if you charge from a plug it will take 2hrs and from the USB 2.5hrs. However it will take longer if you are using the device while charging.
Note: When charging via USB please do not exceed the following;
INPUT: 100---240V AC 50—60 Hz & OUTPUT: DC5.0VNever expose batteries to temperatures below –10°C (14°F) or above55°C (123°F).Leavingthe battery in a hot vehicle may degrade long-term performance of Li-Ion batteries. It is normal for batteries to gradually wear down and require longer charging times. If younotice a change in your battery life, it is probably time to purchase a new battery

In the know
Once you have successfully connected your will be able to seamlessly connect to the internet. However your experience will be effected by the strength of the Mobile Data signal that you receive.
If you want to use your MiFi to stream video, use Skype and play games online, you'll need to check that it's possible with your device and signal strength. You may not be able to play games online and use Skype if you're connected to the 3G internet. You'll get the best performance if you've got a high speed connection (HSDPA).
