本机主要用于电动工具、家用电器、汽车摩托车等电机换向器与电枢绕组导线的焊接工作。整个焊接过程由目前的日本米亚基直流逆变电源碰焊控制系统控制，同时还选用进口PLC系统，可任意编写程序参数，编程格式符合ISO国际代码标准，可在规定的范围内对转子改型进行程式改动。重要部位配有电子感应自动报警系统，确保机器和人员的安全。设备带有电极水冷（冷却机）循环装置，可及时对点焊头进行冷却。本机是目前市场上，最理想的焊接设备之一，性能已达到国际领先水平。FW003B-M系列价格相对FW003B-A更为经济，基本配置和全自动型基本相仿，符合流水线生产作业，是相对经济，高效的理想焊接设备选择。
